About Pediatric Partners
Pediatric Partners is a husband and wife team (Van S. McCorkle, MD & Ingrid R. Newman, MD) who have two children themselves. The practice was established in February 2002.
At Pediatric Partners the physicians and staff are committed to providing high quality, developmentally appropriate general pediatric care to patients from birth to age 18 years in a friendly, nurturing environment.
Van S. McCorkle
Van S. McCorkle, MD – Medical school and residency completed in 1997 at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Board certified in pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Ingrid R. Newman
Ingrid R. Newman, MD – Medical school and residency completed in 1996 at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Board certified in pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Jessi Flynn
Jessi Flynn, APRN-BC, PNP – Received her MSN from Georgia State University in 2011 and is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She spent the first six years of her career as a Registered Nurse at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.
Liz Poe
Liz Poe, APRN-BC, PNP – Received her MSN from Georgia State University in 2013 and is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She has worked as a registered nurse at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston Hospital for 7 years. She has a special interest in childhood wellness through nutrition and exercise.
Lauren Lariscy
Lauren Lariscy, MSN, APRN, CPNP, SANE-P – Received her MSN from Vanderbilt University in 2019 and is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She spent 4 years of her career as a registered nurse in the PICU at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. Lauren holds a pediatric SANE certification and has a special interest in serving children who have experienced trauma.
Kelly Posey
Kelly Posey, APRN-BC, PNP – Received her MSN from University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2021 and is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Her first 5 years as a nurse were spent on the Hematology, Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplant floor at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. Her past work leads to a special interest in blood disorders and childhood cancer.
